Terms of Service
Last updated: June 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and NoPaperCard (“NoPaperCard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of nopapercard.com and the NoPaperCard services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, publishing a card, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organization.
2. The Service
NoPaperCard lets you create, customize, publish, and share digital business cards; generate cards with AI; capture leads; view analytics; add cards to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet; and optionally order physical NFC products. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and we may set or change usage limits (such as the number of cards available on each plan).
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@nopapercard.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You may sign in with email and password or through a third-party provider (such as Google or Apple); their terms also apply to that sign-in.
4. Free creation; paid publishing
You can create and design a card for free. Publishing a card so it is publicly shareable, and certain features, require an active paid subscription. If your subscription ends, lapses, or is canceled, your published cards may become unavailable until you resubscribe.
5. Subscriptions, billing & renewals
- Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price and interval shown at checkout (currently Starter $5/mo, Pro $10/mo, and Business $19/mo, or the corresponding annual prices).
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) using your payment method on file, until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
- We may change plan prices or features. We will give reasonable notice of price changes, which take effect on your next renewal. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
- You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchases except taxes on our net income.
6. 15-day money-back guarantee & refunds
We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment: if you are not satisfied, email support@nopapercard.com within 15 days of that charge and we will refund it. Beyond that window, payments (including renewals) are non-refundable except where required by law. Refunds apply to subscription fees only and not to physical NFC product orders, which are covered below.
7. NFC products & shipping
Physical NFC products are one-time purchases. Because they are custom-printed and encoded to your card, they are personalized goods and are not returnable except where they arrive defective or damaged, in which case we will replace the defective item. Shipping times and costs are shown at checkout and may vary by destination and by our fulfillment partners.
8. Your content & license to us
You retain ownership of the content you add to your cards (your name, photos, logo, links, copy, and any custom HTML). You grant NoPaperCard a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service (including rendering your public card and generating wallet passes and QR codes).
You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all rights necessary to use it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law. You are responsible for any custom HTML you add and its behavior.
9. Leads & data you collect
If you enable lead capture, you are the controller of the personal information that people submit to you, and NoPaperCard processes it on your behalf. You are responsible for collecting and using that information lawfully — including providing any required notices and obtaining any required consent — and for complying with applicable privacy and anti-spam laws.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Upload malicious code or scripts, or attempt to probe, scan, or compromise the Service or other users.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Send spam, harvest data, or capture leads without a lawful basis and proper notice.
- Publish content that is fraudulent, deceptive, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative.
- Resell, sublicense, or build a competing product from the Service, or circumvent usage limits or paywalls.
We may remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, logos, and branding (but excluding your content) — is owned by NoPaperCard and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Netlify (hosting), Google and Apple (wallet passes and sign-in), and AI providers used to generate cards. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party’s terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or their acts or omissions.
13. Availability & changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, modify, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. Your public card URL is intended to remain stable, but we do not guarantee any specific URL will always be available.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any results will be accurate or reliable.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoPaperCard will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoPaperCard and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including content licenses you granted, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
18. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of NoPaperCard’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
